Description for Havana


Casa Havana is a beautifully furnished and decorated villa with some unique features and is ideal for a large family group or two families holidaying together.
It is close to the beach, shops, restaurants and bars of Moraira but in a quiet area with views extending across the Moraira Valley.
The villa has a private master suite consisting of a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with Jacuzzi bath and a private kitchenette/breakfast/sun room. The first floor also has a double bedroom with antique French 4-poster bed, a twin bedded room, bathroom with Jacuzzi bath and double shower cubicle, large comfortable lounge with wood burning fire, satellite television with English channels including BBC and ITV, video player and music centre and a large farmhouse style kitchen dining room with cooking range, rotisserie, microwave, dishwasher and
American style fridge/freezer.
An internal spiral staircase leads to the lower level, that also has outside access, where there is a further double bedroom with door to a terrace and barbecue area, a twin bedroom, and a 'den' without windows that has two Moroccan sofa beds, sofa and armchairs, television, video and music centre - ideal for teenagers as a sleeping area and lounge. Here also is another bathroom and a second kitchen with electronic ceramic hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer,
dishwasher and washing machine.
The villa has gas central heating and air-conditioning.

The self contained penthouse suite has a lounge, terrace, double bedroom, study area, kitchen and bathroom. The penthouse has a separate entrance to the main villa and is available to rent only as option with the rest of the house taking the total capacity up to 14 people.

From the main villa external steps lead down the terraces to the garden area that features the large 12m x 6m private swimming pool and terrace with sun-loungers and chairs, a covered 6 person hydro spa hot tub and a pool bar with refrigerator and a barbecue. There are other smaller terraces on different levels for al-fresco dining. Off road parking is available for up to 3 cars.

Casa Havana is in Moraira on the Spanish Costa Blanca mid-way between Alicante and Valencia. Moraira is a quaint old Spanish fishing village with many shops, bars and restaurants. A fish market is held daily with Friday being the principal market day where you can buy souvenirs, fresh fruit and vegetables. The area boasts 'the best all year round climate in Europe' according to the World Health Organisation and has 320 days of sunshine a year. The Costa Blanca is renowned for being a shopper’s paradise offering everything from fashionable clothes, leather goods, perfumes and wines as well as an abundance of fresh fruit, fish and vegetables. Numerous restaurants, some with live entertainment, offer local, national and international cuisine. A trip through the valleys and up into the mountains among the pine forests and the almond and citrus groves provides some spectacular scenery, and there are always places to stop for a drink and a meal.

If you have small children please bear in mind that the garden at Casa Havana is terraced and therefore has quite a few steps. Please also note that the spiral staircase to the lower level is quite narrow and not suitable for large people or suitcases when the outside access should be used.
If your party is made up of two families please consider that the lower level is more compact than the main level and, apart from the 'den', does not have a lounge. The first floor can be considered as luxury class and the lower floor, although maybe not luxury because it is more compact and has lower ceilings, is lavishly furnished and decorated. The main 1 bedroom suite does have its own entrance, bathroom and kitchenette so is self contained.

Casa Havana is for families only, not unrelated singles groups.

The villa will normally be available for occupation between 4pm and 7pm on your arrival day and
must be vacated by 10:30am on the last day.

* The welcome pack is comprehensive and includes bread, butter, ham, cheese, tea, coffee, milk, sugar, wine, water, beers and champagne along with sweeties and crisps if your party includes children.
